Everything I've heard/seen/read on this Mahdi character from Islam, also known as the 12th Imam, sounds uncannily like the Antichrist. 

Read the article above.  It's two pages long--I want you to read both pages.  Not only is Ahmedinijad trying to bring about the Mahdi, but he's also trying to bring on the....Rapture?  What?

From what I've heard/seen/read in different teachings, the President of Iran believes the Rapture of the Christians will "rid the world of evil".  Also, in order for this Mahdi to reign in glory, Ahmedinijad needs to bring war to Israel and destroy her.

Well, if Ahmedinijad is a better prophet than Harold Camping, perhaps we should be wary about June the 5th...

Do Not Touch the Apple of God's Eye

As Christians, we sometimes forget or arrogantly assume Israel is no longer God's chosen people. But the promises God gave to Abraham cannot be undone. Christ did NOT abolish God's Word to Abraham. Christ gave us a new covenant of in place of the Law under Moses. But God did NOT negate His promise to Abraham, to give him LAND, to give him DESCENDANTS, and to give him BLESSING & REDEMPTION.

Just because God has grafted the Gentiles (us) onto the Chosen People (Jews) does NOT mean they are no longer His people. He fights for them, not because they deserve it, but because He promised it, and God's promises are eternal. He is not a liar.

A lot of people ask me why I believe we're living in the last days. One of the BIG reasons is because bad things happen when the world does bad things to Israel. And dividing up their LAND that God PROMISED ABRAHAM is a very BAD thing...

A Closer Look at Ascension Day

There is a verse in Acts 1:11 where the angels speak to the disciples of Jesus.  If you're not familiar, I'll set it up for you.

After Christ resurrected from the dead, he spent 40 days on the earth, instructing his disciples to go out into all the world and preach the Gospel.  On the 40th day, Jesus ascended into Heaven bodily, straight up into the sky until his body was obscured by a cloud.

Here is what the angels say:

11 “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.” 

I've been thinking about this verse and how it foretells of the RAPTURE, not the Second Coming.  Why?

Well, think about HOW Jesus went to Heaven.  He was Raptured!!  And the angels themselves told the disciples he will come back in the same way they saw him go.  But that can't possibly be the Second Coming, because we know from Revelation that Christ will be returning on a white charger with the armies of Heaven riding with him.  He will be prepared for battle with a blood-dipped robe.

That is decidedly NOT "in the same way you have seen him go".

No, in the Rapture, Christ descends bodily, in the clouds, and calls his followers up to him.  Our Rapture is going to be just like his!

Since our Rapture is a mirror of Christ's, could the Church also be Raptured on Ascension Day?  According to who you talk to, Ascension day is May 29th, June 1st, 2nd, or 3rd.  Heh, seems a bone of contention, as Jesus was lifted on the 40th day of the Omer (the 50 days that count down from Passover to Pentacost).  But since God works off of Israel's calendar, we should pay attention to it, rather than OUR Gregorian calendar.

As an aside, there is a new moon on the "official" Day of Ascension (June 2nd/3rd, sundown to sundown).  A few scholars believe a new moon is crucial for a Rapture time.  Why?  Because it's "veiled", and in Scripture, the sun has symbolically been God/Christ, while the moon is His Church, reflecting His light to the world.

Along with the veiled moon, there is a planetary conjunction on June 2nd/3rd.  Very interesting, these "signs in the heavens".

Some people wonder if the Church will leave the earth on the day it was born -- Pentacost.  Remember, the Holy Spirit descended on Pentacost, 10 days after Christ ascended.  Enoch is one of the Old Testament Fathers, AND, he was also one of the only men to be Raptured, as well as the prophet Elijah.  Many believe Enoch is a "picture" of the Church.  And oddly enough, he was born AND Raptured on Pentacost!  Could the Church also be born and Raptured on Pentacost?

There is no denying that if you're "watching", you feel *something* is going on in this world.  Personally, I believe the Rapture is very, very close.  Probably closer than anyone realizes.  Could the Rapture be Ascension or Pentacost?  SURE!  And it could also be a year from next Thursday.

The point is, we don't know.  But speculation has been flying for a spring Rapture.  With the way creation is GROANING, whether it be the wrath of God, or a man-made weather weapon, such as HAARP (as conspiracy theorists believe), the watching Church is looking skyward, make no mistake.

The Arabs are planning another march on Israel with their Intifada, this time on June 5th.  It would seem May 15th was a "test run" to see what they could accomplish with a large uprising:

A Rapture on Ascension day makes sense, because why would Christ fulfill a Jewish Feast (Rosh Hoshanah) with the Rapture of the Church?  Then again, the Church was born on Pentacost.  Could we, like Enoch, also be Raptured on Pentacost?

I have no idea, but I do know Jesus is coming VERY soon!! Don't be found asleep!

How Bad Will the Tribulation Be?

Some people might not grasp exactly how bad the coming Tribulation might be.  Here is an article I found outlining what to expect if you're left behind at the Rapture.  It's quite...chilling as to exactly how many people DIE.

And yes, despite Harold Camping's crazy failed prediction, the Rapture is still imminent.  Christ will Rapture His Bride on HIS time table, not on the whim of some crazy false prophet.  In fact, this whole "Rapture" hubbub has actually made the scoffers all the louder, further fulfilling 2 Peter 3:3-4, and now, I truly believe the Rapture WILL come as a thief in the night to most of the world, since no one will believe it's coming after so many people have famously cried wolf.

Jesus IS coming for us. Do not be fooled by false prophets, so that no man may take your crown.  (Revelation 3:11)

I found a resource online that outlines the future eclipses for the next few years.  This person believes the Tribulation is right around the corner, and that the information he's found regarding the eclipses is spot on with what prophecy mentions.

It's Time to Pray for Netanyahu

As we pray for Israel and Jerusalem to have peace, we must also pray for their leader, Benjamin Netanyahu. This man is "waging war" against the entire world. Pray he does not lose his ground. Pray nothing happens to the man.

Saying he rejects Obama's "peace" proposal to Obama's face took some chutzpah. Well done, Mr. Prime Minister.

Reducing Israel to an 8 mile wide strip of land is insanity. INSANITY!! Especially with a horde of Arab enemies at your doorstep!

President Obama's Speech

Our president publicly announced today his endorsement for Israel to divide their land.  My face is in my palm right now.

Israel is the apple of God's eye.  You do NOT mess with them.  There is a God in Heaven, and He fights for them!  Especially now, since they've returned to their land.

Since Obama's announcement, there has been a 6.0 earthquake in Turkey and a 6.0 in Japan, followed by a 4.9 aftershock in Turkey and another 4.9 earthquake in Crete, Greece.  There have been new, stronger rumblings in California today, as well as New Mexico, Oklahoma, & Missouri.

I believe this is just the beginning.  Since our president endorsed the two-state deal to 1967 borders, this means a divided Jerusalem.  Obama also said going before the UN in September won't make the PA a state, that it must be achieved by a peace treaty.  But dividing Israel will bring about Genesis 12:3, which reads:

"I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you."

Zechariah 12:3 & 9 states:

"3 On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves."

"9 On that day I will set out to destroy all the nations that attack Jerusalem."

It will NOT be well for the countries that go against Israel.  Since Obama just declared it and will actively pursue this route, America is no longer under the blessing of Almighty God.  Anything can happen now, folks.  Be prepared for more disasters coming harder and faster now.

Lord, we pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for Your chosen people of Israel.  Fight for them, Lord, as the Lion of the tribe of Judah!  And we also pray for America, that You temper Your wrath until You've stolen Your Church as a thief in the night.  In Jesus' name.  Amen.

Revelation--The Unveiling

Michael Card is a pillar of Christian Music. I have loved his music for nearly 20 years. This video is a fan-made video for a song he wrote about the Second Coming of Christ. The beginning is a "Prelude", and about halfway through, the song entitled "The Unveiling" starts.

When we look for art about Christ, we rarely search for art on the book of Revelation. We're familiar with art about the four horsemen of the Apocalypse, but that's about it. I love this video, because the person who made it found art for the 24 elders casting their crowns, the angels with the bowls of God's judgment, and even a lovely picture of Christ returning for His Bride, where her "gown" is made up of every member of His church.

In watching this video, I've got to ask myself how can ANY Christian be lukewarm about the Second Coming of Christ? How can you not be jazzed and excited for it? Should you be any LESS excited just because you might not be one of those "who are alive and remain"? Should you not care just because you live a long life and Christ might not come before you die?

Absolutely not!

The resurrection of Christ is THE event that makes our faith rock solid, that when He was raised, it proved everything He'd said about Himself was true--endorsed by God the Father Himself. Therefore, OUR resurrection should also be as moving and as powerful as His, for He holds the keys of Death. Whether we "are alive and remain" when He comes, or "asleep" in death, the Blessed Hope of the Second Coming should still give us excitement and joy.

Just because He hasn't returned in 2,000 years doesn't give us an excuse to fall asleep at our post. We must be watching, we must be ready. As the Apostle Paul said, we are closer to that day NOW than when we'd first believed. And how much closer are we AT THIS MOMENT than when Paul lived and breathed?

I hope you enjoy the video and entertain the thought that since no man knows the day nor the hour, we should therefore ever be ready to fly with Christ at a moment's notice, and not let the cares or concerns of this life hold us back from looking up.

Like an excited child who stands dutifully, gazing out the window as they watch for daddy to come home, so too should we have the faith and excitement of a child who's been promised that their Savior is returning! Hallelujah!

USA Congress To Vote The Start Of Endless War on Terror

Here is a video by Paul Begley about a supposed bill going to Congress that would give the President the authority to go to war without first asking Congress. I watch Paul sometimes, but he's definitely an acquired taste. He's a Baptist preacher, so he's very charismatic and passionate, however, that's what I love about him because he doesn't compromise.

This video of his is particularly good today, and I hope you watch the entire thing. The points he makes are very thought-provoking about the end-times systems the Antichrist uses. He sees things developing today that could be used for the AC tomorrow.

"Peace and Security", Then Sudden Destruction Comes Upon Them

1 Thessalonians 5:2-4:

2For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

3For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

4But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.


There are so many things going on right now, it's hard to pick one and talk about it. Obama's giving his address on America's role in the Middle East on Thursday, Benjamin Netanyahu is coming to the U.S. on May 24th to speak before Congress, and everyone is putting pressure on Israel to divide the land that's rightfully theirs.

The border skirmishes on May 15th painted Israel in a bad light, as they shot and killed a few protesters. But it seems somewhat suspect when Syria is known for being so strict about border crossings, and yet these Syrian protesters were somehow "allowed" right up to the fence and hop it. Hmm...

Not to mention Lebanon's attempts to cross the border, and the protesters flying the Palestinian flag from the Temple Mount. Oy.

On top of all this, we're still dealing with record rains and flooding here in the U.S., the Fukushima reactor ain't done spewin', and we're on the doorsteps of hurricane season. Oh, and did you know the 6.0-and-up earthquakes seem to be ramping up lately? There were four 6.0's or better on May 15th alone.

And many wonder if the soggy Mississippi is going to make the New Madrid fault slip. It's certainly done irreparable damage to our farmlands, the heart of America. We do NOT need our food destroyed, not when there's a drought in China, Western Australia, Mexico, Russia, Israel, Europe, & Texas. Folks, where are we going to get our grain in the coming months???

A few Bible scholars wonder if this is the drought prophesied in Joel 1 that precedes the Day of the Lord (the Tribulation) in Joel 1:15? It certainly appears to be a world-wide drought, despite the fact there's been flooding everywhere. What the lack of rain doesn't kill, the abundance of rain will wash away and make rotten.

We are in for some hard times ahead. Especially if the peace deal the world is forcing Israel into is the one prophesied in Daniel 9:27.

What Must I Do to be Saved?

For anyone who isn't a Christian reading my blog, you might wonder how you can leave this earth in the Rapture of Jesus Christ.  And even if the Rapture doesn't come and you live a long life, how are you guaranteed to go to Heaven when you die?

I'll tell you the hard truth right now.  It has nothing to do with living a good life.  God doesn't want your works -- so that no man may boast.  God wants your faith.

People talk about being "born again" like it's a bad thing.  But it's not.  Do you know what it means?  It means once you accept Christ, the Holy Spirit comes to live inside your heart, making your body His temple.  And once God lives in you, you are a new creation.  The old has passed away, the new has come.  2 Corinthians 5:17

You begin to see the world through God-colored glasses, not sin-colored ones.

Fortunately for us, God put His entire Gospel into one Bible verse: John 3:16.

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

So what do you need to do to be saved?

#1.) BELIEVE.  Believe that Christ is the Son of God, that He came to die for your sins and was raised from the dead on the third day.

#2.) REPENT.  In order for Christ's blood to cover your sins, you must first admit you are a sinner.  But repenting is more than admitting your faults.  It's asking Christ to forgive you for them and then promising to turn away from your sins.

#3.) CONFESS.  Tell someone!  Don't keep it hidden in your heart.  Most new believers confess their new faith in Christ by becoming baptized, which is a public proclamation of your faith.  It symbolizes your "death" to your old life and your "rebirth" into your life with Jesus.  But you CAN call up a Christian friend, find a church, send an email...

Once you do these things, that's IT!!  God does the rest.  How awesome is THAT??  It's called being covered by Grace, folks.  It has NOTHING to do with whether or not you deserve Christ's blessing.  Because the bottom line is NO ONE deserves it.  I'm a sinner.  Billy Graham is a sinner.  St. Peter the Apostle was a sinner.  We get in to Heaven ONLY by the Grace of God.

You see, when Christ died for you, His death was the substitute for yours.  When you become a believer, then God takes your sin and puts them on Jesus' shoulders at the cross.  In that way, when God looks at Christ on the cross, He sees YOU.  But, when God looks at you, He sees the perfect life of CHRIST.

And that, my friends, is the Amazing Grace of our Awesome, Astounding, & Awe-Inspiring God!!

Buckle Your Seatbelts

Prophecy watchers, buckle your seat belts.  The New York Times just released an article about Syria, and how they're going to fight the uprisings in their country "to the end."  They interview a cousin of President Assad, who says:

“If there is no stability here, there’s no way there will be stability in Israel,” he said in an interview Monday that lasted more than three hours. “No way, and nobody can guarantee what will happen after, God forbid, anything happens to this regime.”

Asked if it was a warning or a threat, Mr. Makhlouf demurred. “I didn’t say war,” he said. “What I’m saying is don’t let us suffer, don’t put a lot of pressure on the president, don’t push Syria to do anything it is not happy to do.”

The 'Net is abuzz about whether or not Syria will go to war with Israel during the 3rd Intifada, set to march on May 15th, just a few days away.

If this 3rd Intifada is in fact the fulfillment of Psalm 83, and if Syria gets involved, we could also see the fulfillment of Isaiah 17:1, the burden of Damascus.  And if Israel destroys Damascus, that could escalate right into the Ezekiel 38 war, with Turkey (Togarmah), Iran (Persia), and Russia (Magog) jumping into the fray.

If all these wars are upon us, then how close is the Rapture, folks?  According to some, the Song of Songs 2:10-13, "Arise, my love" reveals its in the springtime.  Others believe "the Last Trump" (1 Corinthians 15:51-52) refers to Rosh Hoshanah, a Feast of Trumpets Rapture.  All I can say is -- its time to buckle your seat belts.

Right now in the sky, the planets are aligning (Mercury, Mars, Venus & Jupiter), and there's a conjunction of Mercury, Venus and Jupiter just before dawn.  In June, Mars, Jupiter, Uranus & Neptune will be aligned.  Could be coincidence, however, many people believe the conjunction of Venus/Jupiter was the original Bethlehem star of old.  Do some study on that.  Many believe the Gospel is in the stars, and Christ Himself said there would be signs in the heavens.

But it doesn't surprise me, as Revelation 12 will be in the stars come September 29th.

Of course, this is all speculation on my part with regards to what wars or prophecies may or may not be fulfilled in the coming weeks, however, you cannot deny with the climate in the Middle East right now, that the time is ripe for war.  And I suppose we will all know for sure soon enough.

Please, please keep Israel in your prayers.  Jesus said, "When you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, you know the time of her desolation is near..." ~Luke 21:20  That time is NOW, folks.  And if we're not Raptured out beforehand, I believe we're about to see our God move in a way we've never seen Him move before.

The Arabs are not victorious in Psalm 83 or Ezekiel 38.

Don't Hold On Too Tightly to This World

The Rapture Could Happen at Any Moment Now...

Jimmy DeYoung is a man I sometimes listen to on Prophecy Today, whose videos can be found on You Tube.  Today, he did a guest appearance on "Prophecy in the News Update", saying the agreement between Fatah and Hamas is historic, moreso now than any other time would be, since the entire world is set to recognize Palestine as their own state in September.

Since this unity has basically stopped all talks of "peace" with Israel, it is widely believed Israel will be forced by the Quartet (China, Russia, USA, & UN -- basically the entire WORLD) to accept the division of their land and Jerusalem.  When that happens... Whew, Heaven help us.

Prophecy Being Fulfilled Before Our Eyes?

After you've read Psalm 83, you'll want to read Daniel 11 & 12, along with Ezekiel 38 & 39. These tell of the times to come, of war, and of the Tribulation. Right now, we see all the countries mentioned in these prophecies lining up and allying themselves with one another. Their common goal is to wipe Israel off the map. And the May 15th "3rd Intifada" is a supposed protest with the goal of uniting the Arabs against the Jews, marching on Israel in the process.

We'll see what happens. We live in amazing, scary times. Please pray for Israel right now. Not only are the Arabs pressing in, but the rest of the world is gearing up to recognize a Palestinian state while dividing Jerusalem in the process. As I saw someone say on one Israeli website: "So they're preparing to make war against Hashem? I say let them come."

Amen. Let them come. God WILL fight for Israel.
