Comparing Muslim Prophecy with Bible Prophecy
Here is another prophecy video from Calvary Chapel Kaneohe in Hawaii. In it, the pastor, JD, compares the Islamic prophecy spoken of in the video I shared with you last week with Bible prophecy. It is an eye-opening video to the obvious parallels you might not have realized.
The video is very quiet for the first 15-20 seconds, but after that, the microphone feed is turned on and you can listen like normal. Watch to the end. I love this guy!

Interesting, if Ahmedinijad believes he's the one to usher in the Mahdi, and if this "usher" needs 72 months before the Mahdi appears, well, he's been in power since August 3, 2005. (According to Wikipedia)
ReplyDeleteSeventy-two months later is...August 3, 2011. Right in the middle of the Nine Days of Av for the Jews until Tisha B'av, (the 9th of Av) the saddest day in Jewish history. (Google it)
IF Mahdi and the Antichrist are the same guy, the Church has to be gone before he can be revealed. "The Restrainer" that must be taken out of the way is the Holy Spirit, and the HS indwells the heart of every believer.
Remember my dream about the glorious wedding on August 1st, 2011? (Scroll thru past posts to find it.) Things that make you go hmm...

I would love to get anyone's reaction to "Pretrib Rapture Dishonesty" which I found on Google. Thanks and may the Lord bless you all.
ReplyDeleteMarylee, I did some research and some prayer before answering you. I've heard the "theory" that states Pre-Trib wasn't even taught before 1830. That's not true.
ReplyDeleteRegardless of who plagiarized whom from such and such scholar going back to some random woman from 1830, there was a man known as "Pseudo-Ephraem" who taught Pre-Trib as it were between 350-650AD (They don't seem to be sure when he preached). Here's a link:

Regardless of Pseudo-Ephraem or the lady in 1830, I don't believe in Pre-Trib because of what Hal Lindsey, et al, taught me. I certainly don't believe the teachings of MAN.
If you study, if you read 1 & 2 Thessalonians and 1 Corinthians 15, and John 14 and Matthew 24 and Luke 21 and Revelation 3 and Revelation 4:1... I'm sure there are others, but these come to mind off the top of my head...They teach of a Pre-Trib Rapture. The "harpazo" in the Greek, the catching away, the gathering together to be with the Lord.
There are so many parallels to Pre-Trib throughout tradition. I've spoken on this blog about the ancient Jewish wedding. If you haven't studied it, please do so. It is literally a dress-rehersal for Pre-Trib Rapture. This is the key, because Christ called us His BRIDE and himself the BRIDEGROOM. Why make that parallel with the Church if the wedding ceremony itself wasn't crucial as well?
Also, study the three harvests in Israel that are connected with the former and the latter rain--Barley, Wheat, & Grapes. I have an excellent video series by Perry Stone about the harvests on this blog as well if you want to look that up.

So no, I don't adhere to the idea that Pre-Trib is essentially "new" in end times doctrine. Clearly St. Paul taught it in his Epistles. Clearly the ancient Jewish wedding foreshadows it.
Also, the 5 foolish virgins in Christ's parable did not need the mark of the beast to buy more oil.
And Christ also said, "As it was in the days of Noah and Lot..." What was it like in those days? The people were eating, drinking, getting married, etc., basically, they had no idea what was coming. They were clueless until the waters and the fires rained down upon them.
I'm pretty sure while you're going through the Trib, you'll KNOW it's the worst time of your entire life, and of the whole of mankind. Life in the Trib is going to change so drastically -- one world gov't, one world religion, mark of the beast, worship of the beast, not to mention God's wrath being poured out, those days will not be like Noah before God closed the door of the ark.
The Bible is littered with stories of God saving His people from His wrath. But there is absolutely NO prophetic Scripture about God covering His saints or whisking them away to some mountain to live out their days in peace while the Trib rages elsewhere on Earth.
I do not believe Christ would allow His Bride to be beaten, broken, bloodied, and martyred in God's wrath. It is not appointed for us to wrath. HOWEVER, there will be Christians who were either lukewarm and left behind or converted during the Trib who WILL have to ride it out, and they are the martyrs under God's altar in Revelation, "who came out of the Tribulation" it says.
So I think the Pre-Trib Rapture Dishonesty is bubkus, due to my own studies, not from what some "random" woman "supposedly" thought up in 1830. Clearly, those people have never read their New Testaments.

Another couple of reasons I believe in a Pre-Trib Rapture is that if it happens Post-Trib, then we'll go up to meet Christ in the clouds -- and then come RIGHT back down to fight the armies of the AC. Of all the times Paul describes meeting the Lord in the air, he never once mentions having to fight a battle, he merely states we will "ever be with the Lord."
ReplyDeleteBut that's not concrete proof.
What does it for me is the sheep and the goats judgment. If Christ returns at the end of the Trib, Raptures His believers, fights the AC and his minions, then there will be no "sheep" for the judgment, we'll all have been Raptured, in newly translated Heavenly bodies "in a blink of an eye" as Paul describes in Thessalonians.
If there are no sheep for this sheep/goats judgment and there are no believers left--as all Christians would have been translated into Heavenly bodies and all sinners thrown into the pit--who, then, will live and enter into the 1,000 year reign of Christ?
You see, the 1,000 year reign of Christ isn't some "Heavenly" realm on Earth. It's Jesus' reign as Messiah on a NEW Earth, how it was SUPPOSED to be when He came the first time. There will be mortal people who will get married, have babies, all under the reign of Christ the King. We who have been Pre-Trib Raptured will reign with Him as His Bride.
But the believers during the Millennium will not be "The Bride". After the 1,000 years of peace, THEN we will live and reign in a Heavenly realm forever and ever after the Great White Throne Judgment, when every person who's ever lived will be resurrected into translated bodies and either be judged to live with the Lord in Heaven or die the second death and be cast into the lake of fire.

Found another link that shows the entire sermon from Pseudo-Ephraem, complete with comments of the poster afterward, explaining the Pre-Trib nature of the sermon 1,000 years before Darby.
