Anyone who teaches this is WRONG. We are saved through Christ's righteousness that He gave us at the cross, not by our own works of "holiness", which is literally impossible to do.

Otherwise, Christ died for nothing and God's Grace is in vain.

When you realize Christ is very purposefully comparing our relationship to Him as His Bride, you will understand what God is doing prophetically with regards to an actual Jewish wedding ceremony for His Son.
