Last Push for Peace before July 15th

I know this article is almost a week old, but I've been camping with the family and things have finally settled down after returning, putting everything away, and conquering the mountain of laundry. :)

Here is an article I found on Haaretz.com regarding the Quartet, and their meeting in Washington D.C. on July 11th as a last-ditch effort to revive peace talks before the PA starts the statehood process with the UN on July 15th.

This is definitely something to watch in the coming days.  If this falls through, then "Palestine" might strong-arm its way into becoming a nation in September.  Abbas has already called Obama out, reasoning that if the President wants Israel to accept the 1967 armistice lines as the starting point to peace, then there should be no reason to veto the Palestinian state in September.

Whew!  We'll see where this all leads...

Chrislam is an Abomination

If your church is reading from the Qur'an this weekend (6/26), DO NOT ATTEND THEIR SERVICE.

Chrislam, the mixture of Christianity and Islam, is all in the name of tolerance.  But what most Christians don't realize is the God of the Bible and Allah of the Qur'an are NOT the same God!  Yahweh is loving and gracious, while Allah is vengeful and bloodthirsty.  The Bible proclaims Christ as the one and only Son of God -- the Qur'an denounces Christ as the Son of God, as Allah would not defile Himself with a son.

The above link gives a list of all the churches who are reading/preaching from the Qur'an this Sunday.  If your church is on this list, do not attend and consider finding a new church.

I am of the belief Chrislam could be the apostasy spoken of in 2 Thessalonians.  Christians are abandoning the true Gospel and following a man-made Christ, all in the name of tolerance.  Do NOT defile God's Son this Sunday!

I also think the birth pangs are going to get stronger after this happens.  Churches participating in this Chrislam abomination should be ashamed of themselves and repent.

God is NOT pleased.

The Love of the King - A Poem

I haven't written a poem in a very long time.  Tonight, I felt like writing one, as a praise to Jesus.  I wanted to portray His love, and how deep it is for us.  Hopefully I conveyed that.  :D  Enjoy!

The Love of the King

Long before the universe was spoken into light
long before the day was separated from the night
The Creator God foreknew it all and said, "I have a plan
for that wicked, sinful, selfish being known to Me as "man".

"For I love him and his offspring more than he'll ever know
yet when he dies he'll have no peace, to Hell his soul will go.
Therefore I must step in and stop it, for I want him here with Me
But the price of this peace is high--I must be nailed to a tree."

So God the Father sent the world His one and only Son
To teach us how to live and to show what must be done.
But the rabbis and the priests had Him hung upon a cross,
and the men the Son had loved surely thought that all was lost.

But Yeshua HaMashiach, having the keys to hell and death,
returned to His lifeless body and took another breath.
In that moment, Satan screamed, for Redemption had been won
As all Power and Authority belongs solely to God's own Son.

Now the sinful, selfish man was covered by God's Grace
And he had no need for fear to look upon God's face.
But even though God's Grace is a gift He gives for free,
the sinful selfish man must choose, "Christ is the way for me."

He must turn away from his wicked ways, repenting of his sin
For God wants him to live a holy life, seeking only Him.
Now his soul is bound for Glory, flying up to Heaven,
He's seen as perfect in God's eyes, even though his flesh has leaven.

This is the mystery that confounds us, the very Love of God,
that our King stepped from His Throne, and among our flesh He trod.
And His Church faithfully follows Him, with no hate or lust or pride
Because the King is now our Bridegroom, and we, His spotless Bride.

All of Heaven is preparing for the Wedding that is to come
And God the Father will decide when all is said and done.
Then Christ, our Beloved, will again stand up to leave His Throne,
Yet this time He'll gather those He loves, and bring His Bride on Home.
